I really suck at blogging.

Apparently I haven't posted anything since April... Well I read blogs almost daily but I guess my life is nothing short of boring... SO I will do a quick update on what has been happening from then until now :) My job is still going great I still LOVE it. It is so rewarding knowing that people are actually benefiting and their lives are being changed because of what we do on a day to day basis.

May
We moved into a new townhouse in W Jordan. LOVE IT :) So much less ghetto than the previous one, lots more space and way more natural light, we don't live in a cave anymore :) [Thanks to B-Rye and Scotty for helping us move!]

June
I don't think that anything exciting happened in June mostly just working/ going to school and unpacking all of our stuff into our new home

July:
My niece turned one so I went down to her birthday party she is so cute! She loves everything toys story. She got Woody Jesse and Buzz for her birthday and she LOVES them!

August:
Was probably the most exciting of all months. We went to Vegas for a week. I had never been before and I had an amazing time. Thank you boyfriend for making for an amazing vacation!

We ate amazing food at Cabo Wabo, Dos Caminos and Bahama Breeze. We stayed at Bally's which for the price was decent the room was large, just old! We did enjoy the pool, and walking the strip. I am sure that we walked at least 5 miles a day but there was just alot to see that I obviously had not seen before. Highlights of the trip were the amazing food, The Bellagio fountains (I could probably watch them for hours) and just having time off work to spend with my amazing boyfriend! :)

My birthday was on August 31st. My boyfriend took me out for a Sushi lunch at my favorite place (Ah! Sushi) Sooo good! It was followed by dinner at Grandma Vance's house (She made amazing pot roast followed by "better than sex" Cake (at the boyfriend request because I could not think of what kind of cake I wanted) KC, Kendall, Kevin and Grandma and Grandpa Vance all pitched in and got me a new kindle. LOVE IT! [Thank you so much for the dinner and present!]

September:
Kelly and B. Davis got married in Vegas on 9.10.11 so we ventured down there for that as well. This time we stayed at The Rio which was definitely better than Bally's but I still liked the location of Bally's on the strip better. Kelly's wedding was short and sweet and I am so excited for her :) She is also having a baby in SO excited for my new niece/ nephew to arrive!

We also celebrated 4 years of being together on September 19th. Hopefully one day soon I will be more than a girlfriend ;) haha But I love my boyfriend more than anything in the whole wide world he is totally amazing and does so much for me!

October:
KC has his annual Utah SAINT conference which lasts a week and is usually in St. George. This year I went down with him so I could hang out with all my amazing cousins (Sarah, Deric, Delaney, Riley, Mo, Dayna, Stetson, and Drew for a minute) It was so much fun! I would really move down there if I had the chance to they are SO much fun I can't wait to see them all again!

November:
My BFF Lexi just got back from her mission to Peru in September and is getting married in January and I am going to be a bridesmaid in her wedding (so excited for her!) We had a bridesmaid get together last weekend with some of the other bridesmaids and it was SO much fun. I had never met either of the other 2 girls (Chelsea and Janelle) I really don't know why not. They are two of the most fun girls I have ever met! I can forsee lots of entertaining days of friendship ahead with these girlies!

More to come hopefully soon :)

I LOVE my job!!!

I started a new job (new as in I've been there for almost 2 months already!) as a med nurse at a detox/rehab and acute psychiatry hospital. In the short month I have been there I have met so many incredible people with such amazing attitudes and stories. I know I was meant to find this job. I am excited everyday when I go to work. Not only to see my co-workers but to here the accomplishments my patients have made in the time I've been gone. There are so many awesome things about this hospital. I love all of the staff. My favorite part however, it that most of our rehab patients are with us for a month so you really get to know them as people, they aren't just a job.

I guess it's been a while since I posted but with school and work I haven't had any time, hopefully I will update more later :)

January fun.

So, My nephew turned 3! What better place for a 3 year old to have his birthday than Chuck E. Cheese? Well it was definitely a fun time. Tiff made a cute Muno cake (some character from Yo Gabba Gabba!) Brax was not a huge fan of the mouse so he had to be dragged to the front. Birthday Boys/Girls get a free trip into the air blown ticket thing, of course he was way to young and not interested. Who better to take his turn and win her favorite nephew (900-ish tickets) then me :) It was an adventure. So much fun, I was laughing the whole time. Bryan told me just to hold open my shirt... So I put on the boyfriends hoodie and went in with my plan of attack and was very successful.

Next boyfriend has a birthday. He's officially 1/4 of a century old and was not too happy about it. I made him dinner and a delicious reese's peanut butter cup cake (which he loved). Unfortunately I forgot to take any pictures... Guess there's always next year :P

Finally, the boyfriend and I went on a date night. We've been so busy lately and have not had time to do very much. First we went bowling (which I totally sucked at) I haven't been bowling in forever, but I can't wait to go again very soon. Then we went to Happy Sumo I had never been but was craving sushi so we picked there. It was very good, I'm glad KC is branching out a bit. He's gone from a boy who would not touch fish of any kind to enjoying sushi. Granted he gets the Vegas roll which happens to be a deep fried kind roll but still it is a start. After dinner we went to a frozen yogurt place across from the restaurant where we shared a peanut butter frozen yogurt. It was heavenly!
We plan to have more frequent date nights, and my goal for the new year is to blog at least monthly (because I've been terrible at it.) So wish me luck!
