Greetings from Midvale :)

So I've been up here for just about three weeks and I LOVE it :). I haven't been doing a whole lot, but I've been busy I suppose.

I just got hired on at a physical therapy place in Sandy, and I am so excited because I loved the atmosphere and people there, it reminded me alot of my time at the 'Hab!

I love my apartment for the most part, and my roommate Jacqui is awesome. Together with Boyfriend we have formed the Howgonznyder Family :) haha. We told the cable guy thats what it was, and made that our email address for our cable company.

Other than hanging out at home, and going to the gym I haven't been doing too much. The first two weeks here were kind of awful because we didn't have cable or internet.. I was dying. I need to be studying for the NCLEX which I will take June 30th :S (wish me luck!)

I did hang out with Tiff and Brax, and will be hanging out with them again tomorrow, LOVE THEM! :)

-Boyfriend has been up every weekend to visit me. Last weekend was his family reunion, it was very fun, but FREEZING, I ate so much food, it was amazing! I decided since this weekend is fathers day, and since my amazing boyfriend has been up here every weekend for the last three weeks, I would take my turn and go down there this weekend, so that's where I'll be. :)

If any of my friends/family who are reading this are ever in my area and bored, come visit me!

We Love you Popcorn.

Today the sweetest, smartest, most amazing dog ever passed away. Popcorn was almost 13 and she has been with boyfriend for her entire life. She was a therapy dog, loved to run and herd the deer on the golf course. She knew how to sing to "Who let the dogs out" and she loved to share my snacks with me, especially when I was eating red bell peppers and popcorn. Every time I popped a bag, she always ended up eating about half of it because I couldn't say no to her cute face!

We will miss you Princess! I hope you are running with Kernal and Newfie right about now!

Movin' on up!

So lots has happened in the last few weeks/ month.

-I graduated from the LPN Program. (pictures to come, if my mother did in fact take any.)

- Went to Super Cross again

-Ran the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5k (32 Minutes!)

-I didn't get into the RN program (which is alright because...)

-I am moving to the Salt Lake Area!

-I got a new car!

My friend Jacqui and I signed on apartment in Midvale yesterday. It's SO cute, I cannot wait to move all my stuff up here!

All I need now is a job, and a bunch of stuff for my apartment (If anyone has any furniture/washer&dryer/ANY house stuff they are getting rid of let me know!) I am going to start taking classes at SLCC next semester so that I can apply for the RN program up here, and in the mean time I will just work, and study to take the NCLEX.

I am nervous to leave my hometown for the first time EVER, but I am excited at everything that is awaiting me up here, including: Friends, More job opportunities, life experience and a whole lot of fun adventures with Jacqui.

I am going to miss all my friends (especially the nursing girls, & Kell,Mad& Bart too!) and my family, but I'll only be 2 hours away, so I can come visit, (Or you can come visit me!)

Anyways... that's all that I can think of at this moment in time. I will upload pictures of the previous events as soon as I get home.

Love this spring weather!

The weather has been nice to us for most of the last few weeks. I was supposed to watch Braxton today so made plans with Kell and Mad to go to the park. I didn't end up watching Brax but Kell had told Mad that if she was a good girl we would go to the park today, She was really good all day so we went to the park. Here's a picture of Mad in her sweet shades!

We had so much fun. We can't wait to go again! :)

Two more tests and I'm done with school for the semester. Then we should see if I got into the RN program or not, and our Pinning Ceremony is on Friday. The next few weekends are going to be full of fun, so hopefully I'll have lots of pictures to post. (Supercross on Saturday, Next Saturday is my 5k which you all can still donate to here [I haven't yet reached my goal, any amount will help!], Then, the weekend after that one we are going to St. George to my cousin Delaney's play) SO more updates to come soon!

On May 8, 2010 I am lacing up my sneakers and running the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. Many special people has survived cancer because of their positive attitude and the breakthroughs in cancer research funded by Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This event will be the memorable because of the courage and strength of these special survivors behind me.

Now, your part is easy. All you need to do is commit to sponsoring me. Please donate as generously as you can.

Festival of Colors.

So, my best friend is leaving for her mission to Arquipa, Peru tomorrow. Boyfriend and I were lucky enough to go to the Festival of Colors with her and her boyfriend a few weekends ago. It was so much fun. I'm glad that I got to see her one more time before she left. I love you Lex, I will miss you! Hope you have a wonderful experience and are safe. I plan on writing you LOTS! :)
