Super Cross and more importantly DAVI MILLSAPS!!!

The 25th of April was Supercross in Salt Lake and the Rice Eccles Stadium. My dad, Marley, and I went two years in a row and then they stopped having it here 5 years ago. BUT they finally had it here again this year and I was SOO excited. We've had out tickets for a year and they were AMAZING. (front row) well technically they were 5th row but 5th row was the front for this event. We were so close! My dad's friend Ken who got us the tickets also had 10 other tickets so there were other people with us. Johnny Downard who I used to work with at GNC won a freaking dirtbike! LUCKY. Most importantly however I met DAVI MILLSAPS!!! I've been a fan of Davi for probably 5+ years or however long it's been since he started his supercross career. Here are the pictures :-] Bubba Stewart finished 1st, Chad Reed 2nd, and Davi 3rd it was an intense battle for 1st place between Reed and Stewart it was a great night even though we FROZE!

So I went on a Random trip to Salt Lake with Mace and Kelly to the Brittney Spears Concert... I'm not a HUGE fan.. The concert was alright I guess it would have been better if I was a super obsessed fan or something.... but here are some pictures from that day :]

So on Easter Sunday I was at Gracie's Birthday Party and I decided I wanted to ride the Mule... Gracie told me that he "bucked her off almost today" but really what had happened was Kendal (Gracie's dog) jumped over the fence and scared Pablo (Gracie's mule) so he ran the other direction and it scared her because she wasn't prepared for it... SO he was a bit temperamental for the rest of the day. Steve rides him around to the yard.. and I attempt to get on... well watch the video for what happens next.. I'll just say that I never ended up riding him that day!

apparently he doesn't like me... notice my shoes! they're my dad's I was wearing flip-flops and apparently you can't ride mules with them on.. but i guess I can't ride mules at all if they don't like me!

Alright well blogger is being dumb... here are some pictures of what I've been creating with my new lovely sewing machine. Boyfriend never expected me to actually get as much use out of it he thought he'd just buy it for me and it would sit for all eternity.. WRONG. haha okay so starting from the top... A purse I found a pattern for and finished yesterday. Next the reversible purse I made for Gracie's birthday (which is tomorrow) with the pattern from smallfry&co. and finally two 15-minute dresses i whipped up for Madd's first birthday. (She wore the pink one to her party) Thank you Tanya from Trey&Lucy's blog! Well that's all for now :]

wOOT! I got my letter in the mail today I was accepted into the LPN program at CEU I am SO freaking excited you have no idea! ALSO I am making Gracie a purse using the tutorial I found on Smallfry&co and so far I've made one handkerchief dress using a tutorial from Tanya @Trey&Lucy I'll post pictures soon :]

Sewing Machine! and Random...

So KC ordered my sewing machine for me it should be here Friday I am SO excited! I bought fabric at JoAnn for a quilt it is going to look neat. Speaking of JoAnn, I had never been into that store before and let me tell you it is AMAZING. I believe that I could spend hours and hours in there and not get sick of it. If only I had all the money in the world to spend on whatever I wanted. I got the Twilight movie yesterday and I love it. I don't know that I could ever get tired of watching it I cannot wait until the next one! Alright well I have a test to study for I just had to log on and fix some settings for Taffee! :]
