WOAH I am still in the game! So proud of myself for it too :) The numbers on the scale haven't budged much but my fitness test was much improved, and I lost about 1/2" from each area. So loving it!

Day 2.
I survived! (barely) I enjoyed today's workout more than yesterday but realize now how weak my arms truly are. Definitely need to work on these noodle arms I possess. All in all I still like insanity hopefully soon my arm strength picks up and I am able to do all sets of the exercises. Also I think the Fiancè is going to start insanity also. He did the fit test tonight, I am sure he'll see results so much quicker (stupid men and their super speed metabolism!) Oh well, I am glad I am enjoying it anyways. :)
Day 1 Plyometric Cardio
Oh my gosh! I am SOOO out of shape. Most intense workout of my life! I have done P90x, Turbo Kick, Kick Boxing and Tae Bo in the past but they have NOTHING on Shaun T and Insanity. I know I will be seeing results from this program. Taffee you are totally correct, It definitely is a Love/Hate relationship, never have I been more excited for a water break in my life! Hopefully I can get out of bed in the morning!
Good Night!

Wedding Dress Shape
Okay I have REALLY sucked at blogging! In May (on mothers day) KC and I got engaged! We are getting married 6.7.13 :) So I have tried to start multiple times with the whole "getting into shape business" However this time I am SUPER motivated. I have run a few 5ks this year, but I am not in wedding dress shape...
SO I am here to say, I am starting INSANITY tomorrow! I did the fit test tonight and HOLY I am SOOOO out of shape! I will ATTEMPT to keep up with my reviews of the workouts and progress, etc. We shall see how it goes :S

WSU nursing
after being an LPN for a little over 2 years, I finally got into the RN program at Weber State University :)
I am super excited to start!
In other news, working out is still going great. We've been going regularly, eating healthy and although I have yet to re-measure (since it's only been a little over two weeks, I will probably wait until the one month mark). I do feel more energetic and am enjoying the time spent working out with the boyfriend so that is definitely a plus.

If you are tired of starting over, quit giving up!
I have been reading my friend Caroline's blog lately about her struggles with weight loss after her second baby and trying to get back into shape and it has really inspired my on a few points.
First: I am going to start measuring progress not by weight but by inches. After all when you step on a scale you are not only measuring how much fat is on your body, but also the food, water, blood and organs in there too!
Second: What I eat matters, I can't expect to look great this summer if I keep putting junk into my body.
-We have started eating alot healthier (green smoothies for breakfast, homemade lunches and dinners, no treats, no eating out!) and we continue to make progress, and I do recognize the extra energy I have on days where I eat super healthy!
Third: If you are tired of starting over, quit giving up!
I have seen it on pinterest before, but it wasn't until Caroline talked about it that it really clicked for me. I think for the last year I have started over in my fitness journey at least 10 times... each time I give up before I even see any results. Not this time folks!
My wonderful boyfriend and I have joined 24 hour fitness right by our house, and are planning on starting out with cardio twice a day and weights 3 days a week for the next while until we see some improvement in our cardiovascular health and HOPEFULLY in our waist line as well.
I guess I will be brave in a little while and post some before pictures as well as my measurements, it's probably the best way for me to stay accountable to myself :S
babies, bowling, new routines, etc.
Apparently I was correct when I said I wouldn't update for several more months.. OOPS. Well anyways in the mean time we have welcomed a few new babes into the world since my last post.
First is my nephew Korbyn, Bryan and Tiffany's baby. He is SO adorable and already 2 months old. I just love him :)

For spring break, Riley and Kyle came and stayed with us, I didn't take many pictures, but we did go "ghetto bowling" one of the nights and it was so much fun. I sucked, but KC learned to "spin the ball" or something like that, and went from having a first score of 83 and a second score of 196. Hopefully they come and visit again soon!
The next new baby is my best friend Kelly's baby Brooklyn. She was born just two days ago and we went down for a super quick trip yesterday. :)
Finally, KC and I have joined 24 hour fitness, and it's KILLIN' me! I kind of hate it, but at the same time I know I am going to love the end result.
Here's breakfast from this morning. DELICIOUS!

For now, I have to go get ready for the gym again. :S (I will post more about that later)
