3 years ♥

September 19th marked three OFFICIAL years of being with my AMAZING boyfriend. We spent the day painting his house so that we can get it ready to rent out. So nothing super exciting, but it's okay, he treats me like a princess 90% of the time, so nothing special needed, just to be with him :)

From breaking my collar bone when we wrecked on a four wheeler, to taking trips to places I have never been before. I know I will never ride another roller coaster again! You make me the happiest I have ever been. I love you soo much babe! Can't wait for more adventures!

School, 21, WATERMELON

Alot has happened recently, I don't really know why I don't blog more, probably because I don't ever take my camera anywhere and posts are boring without Pictures.

My sister got married (I guess I shall have a separate post once I get some pictures of that event)

I turned 21, I had school in the morning and at night, so I didn't do anything WILD and crazy, not that I really would have anyways....

The most exciting thing of my week, I went to the store and found this:

Music to my ears... or I guess my eyes, I have been craving watermelon for EVER, so when I went to Smith's and found this, I was so excited, because not only is it the most AMAZING watermelon you will ever find, my dads family (ie. Taffee's dad, etc) are THE Veteres! :D

I am so excited to cut it up and eat it.

Hiking adventure!

Cory boy, Scotty and I went on a hike last Thursday, Cory told us it was going to be a simple hike and wouldn't be too difficult, however we took a wrong fork or something, and it ended up being the most difficult hike I've ever been on in my entire life (even though I haven't hiked a whole lot, it was still terrible) But, it was very fun, we almost gave up (Scotty and I), but decided we wanted to keep going, and it was so much fun and we were very excited that we made it as high as we did.

I haven't been up to much other than work, and hanging out with Scotty. Tiff & Brax or the Royers on my days off, but I really love it up here.

Here are some pictures from our hike. Thursdays are our designated hiking days, so hopefully we continue this weekly tradition throughout the rest of the summer.

Greetings from Midvale :)

So I've been up here for just about three weeks and I LOVE it :). I haven't been doing a whole lot, but I've been busy I suppose.

I just got hired on at a physical therapy place in Sandy, and I am so excited because I loved the atmosphere and people there, it reminded me alot of my time at the 'Hab!

I love my apartment for the most part, and my roommate Jacqui is awesome. Together with Boyfriend we have formed the Howgonznyder Family :) haha. We told the cable guy thats what it was, and made that our email address for our cable company.

Other than hanging out at home, and going to the gym I haven't been doing too much. The first two weeks here were kind of awful because we didn't have cable or internet.. I was dying. I need to be studying for the NCLEX which I will take June 30th :S (wish me luck!)

I did hang out with Tiff and Brax, and will be hanging out with them again tomorrow, LOVE THEM! :)

-Boyfriend has been up every weekend to visit me. Last weekend was his family reunion, it was very fun, but FREEZING, I ate so much food, it was amazing! I decided since this weekend is fathers day, and since my amazing boyfriend has been up here every weekend for the last three weeks, I would take my turn and go down there this weekend, so that's where I'll be. :)

If any of my friends/family who are reading this are ever in my area and bored, come visit me!

We Love you Popcorn.

Today the sweetest, smartest, most amazing dog ever passed away. Popcorn was almost 13 and she has been with boyfriend for her entire life. She was a therapy dog, loved to run and herd the deer on the golf course. She knew how to sing to "Who let the dogs out" and she loved to share my snacks with me, especially when I was eating red bell peppers and popcorn. Every time I popped a bag, she always ended up eating about half of it because I couldn't say no to her cute face!

We will miss you Princess! I hope you are running with Kernal and Newfie right about now!

Movin' on up!

So lots has happened in the last few weeks/ month.

-I graduated from the LPN Program. (pictures to come, if my mother did in fact take any.)

- Went to Super Cross again

-Ran the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5k (32 Minutes!)

-I didn't get into the RN program (which is alright because...)

-I am moving to the Salt Lake Area!

-I got a new car!

My friend Jacqui and I signed on apartment in Midvale yesterday. It's SO cute, I cannot wait to move all my stuff up here!

All I need now is a job, and a bunch of stuff for my apartment (If anyone has any furniture/washer&dryer/ANY house stuff they are getting rid of let me know!) I am going to start taking classes at SLCC next semester so that I can apply for the RN program up here, and in the mean time I will just work, and study to take the NCLEX.

I am nervous to leave my hometown for the first time EVER, but I am excited at everything that is awaiting me up here, including: Friends, More job opportunities, life experience and a whole lot of fun adventures with Jacqui.

I am going to miss all my friends (especially the nursing girls, & Kell,Mad& Bart too!) and my family, but I'll only be 2 hours away, so I can come visit, (Or you can come visit me!)

Anyways... that's all that I can think of at this moment in time. I will upload pictures of the previous events as soon as I get home.

Love this spring weather!

The weather has been nice to us for most of the last few weeks. I was supposed to watch Braxton today so made plans with Kell and Mad to go to the park. I didn't end up watching Brax but Kell had told Mad that if she was a good girl we would go to the park today, She was really good all day so we went to the park. Here's a picture of Mad in her sweet shades!

We had so much fun. We can't wait to go again! :)

Two more tests and I'm done with school for the semester. Then we should see if I got into the RN program or not, and our Pinning Ceremony is on Friday. The next few weekends are going to be full of fun, so hopefully I'll have lots of pictures to post. (Supercross on Saturday, Next Saturday is my 5k which you all can still donate to here [I haven't yet reached my goal, any amount will help!], Then, the weekend after that one we are going to St. George to my cousin Delaney's play) SO more updates to come soon!

On May 8, 2010 I am lacing up my sneakers and running the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. Many special people has survived cancer because of their positive attitude and the breakthroughs in cancer research funded by Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This event will be the memorable because of the courage and strength of these special survivors behind me.

Festival of Colors.

So, my best friend is leaving for her mission to Arquipa, Peru tomorrow. Boyfriend and I were lucky enough to go to the Festival of Colors with her and her boyfriend a few weekends ago. It was so much fun. I'm glad that I got to see her one more time before she left. I love you Lex, I will miss you! Hope you have a wonderful experience and are safe. I plan on writing you LOTS! :)

Long awaited...

So I've been meaning to write this post for a very long time now. We didn't go anywhere over spring break, but instead we decided to re-do our bathroom :) Here are a few pictures, I LOVE it! and I love my boyfriend for letting me pick the color! The Last Song.

So I got a Kindle this week and the first book I bought and Read (In one day) was The Last Song. LOVED it. If you are in need of a book to read, pick this one. It was funny and sad and Hello? Forget Edward and Jacob, I'll take Will! :) Can't wait for the movie to come out in a few short days.

I generally like to read the books before I watch the movies, so I have a list of things I need to reed before I watch movies

So I find it really funny that no matter how old we are because we live in such a small town the drama never ends. I cannot WAIT to get out of this godforsaken town.

Here's the lowdown. Some girl(MF) meets MY boyfriend (BF) while they are working along side each other at the basketball tournament for my school. He thinks she is a nice friendly girl and decides to befriend her... well she misconstrues this relationship into she thinks BF wants her..

Names aren't included and I have used Abbreviation, so here they are:
BF=Boyfriend
LB=Best friends little brother
MF= Dumb girl who wants my boyfriend...

He said she said:

We went to the district championship on Tuesday in SLC and there was a student bus which she road up with my best friends little brother (LB). So LB comes and sits by me and she follows along, when she comes up to the Boyfriend she man handles him a bit and we go on about our business.

She said: "I have a ring on my finger, does that mean we are engaged?"
He said:"She wears that ring on her finger, it is from me, but it is not an engagement ring"
She said to LB:"She just wears that ring on her finger because she likes to pretend that we're engaged and we aren't."

Next they are talking about their future plans, she's leaving in May (Thank you Jesus)

She said: "When you are ready to move what does that mean for you and your girlfriend?"

He said:"When I move up to big city, if my girlfriend gets into the RN program, I am leaving her here and she'll move up as soon as she is done with school."

She said to LB:"He said he's moving up to Salt Lake and dumping her so she will stay here."

(Hello Crazy, I know my boyfriend is HOT but you can't have him)

She said: "LB is coming after me and he wants me but I just want to be friends."

LB is leaving on a mission in a few months and is not interested in a girlfriend, he just broke up with his so that he could prepare for it...

LB Said:"I told her numerous times that I just want to be friends because I'm going on a mission in a few months"

She says: ARE THOSE ENGAGEMENT PICTURES?They sure look like they could be! (Did he not tell you before that they weren't?, and WHY do you care even if they were, it's None of your business!)

As if she wasn't getting creepy enough already:

She has a volleyball tournament this weekend and was leaving today,
she says: she needs to hang out with BF before she leaves...
He says: I don't know if you noticed but I work everyday and busy and don't have time for you (Hello, get the hint that you need to stay away)

she gets super pissed.

So I'm sure almost everyone who reads my blog knows by now, (of if not now you do) that BF and I live together and I LOVE it :)

SO funniest one yet:

She said to LB: Yeah, we hang out all the time, first he came to my dorm, then after that we went on top of (School theater) until 5 in the morning...

hahaha I'm sorry MF but my boyfriend I LIVE together and he's home in bed at that hour every night...

SO the moral to the story: If you are going to try and break me and my boyfriend up, get your story straight and make sure that you can actually provide some reasonable doubt, because when the boy is in my bed, in our house at night, it's kind of hard to believe that he's hanging out with you on the roof.

Lost?

So I'm not really lost, but have just been super busy with school. We got out pictures taken by Tiff and should be getting the CD by tomorrow or the next day so I'll have to post them when they get here.

But the main reason I'm blogging is to tell you about one of my favorite blogs to stalk Boob Nazi is hilarious. and she recently made her 1000th post, so she's having a giveaway to celebrate. Even if you don't enter you should still check out her blog :)

Anyways.. I'll find time next week sometime to update because it will be spring break! :)

Crazy?

So my friend Sarah and I for some reason decided we will start training today to run a half marathon sometime this year... I'm kind of scared... I think we may be crazy.. but at least it will give me something healthy and fun to do! :)

So I'm no psychic but... My prediction is that Heidi Montage who everyone LOVES to hate...

Will indeed be the next Joan Rivers... 10 surgeries in one day at the age of twenty three... you're asking for attention. On good morning america today she was asked why, and she said, "To promote my singing career" Yet, when she was asked to sing anywhere in public she refuses.. bahaha she's ridiculous!

No more sugar!

So today marks the start of my no sugar diet. I'm not going to go crazy with it... if it has natural sugar (fruit) or is made with sugar (within reason, i.e. my 7 grain whole wheat bread) then it's okay. But everything else is out.. :S I'm kind of nervous but it is the start to my goals of actually losing weight and being more healthy. I'm also starting Wii active 30 day challenge 4-5 days a week and Jillian Michaels 30 day shred on some of those days. I need to get serious with this working out stuff...Bring on the sore muscles!

New Goals for 2010!

So since it is now 2010 I guess I will make 10 resolutions or goals which I need to try and achieve this year.

One: Work out at 5 times a week at home with the Wii Active (LOVE IT)

Two: Study for EVERY test and pass them all.

Three: Cook dinner a few nights each week
Four: Finish this semester with B's or better in every class

Five: Pass my LPN boards this summer.

Six: Clean/ Straighten the house weekly

Seven: train to run a 5k this year

Eight: Go to Disney Land this summer

Nine: Be the best at being me, Stop caring what everyone thinks. ♥

Ten: Be goal weight by 21st birthday (8 months from now!)
